Jay Joiner holds a bachelors degree in Fire Administration and has over 30 years in the fire service. Throughout his career he has served as a Haz Mat Program Manager, CSTI Haz Mat Outreach Instructor and a member of the FIRESCOPE Haz Mat working group. Jay has years of experience designing fire apparatus, developing promotional exams and Standard Operating Guidelines. Our cadre of instructors come from diverse training backgrounds providing a well rounded and detailed approach to instruction.

Tyler Stremel has served in the fire service for over 10 years. He holds a Bachelors Degree and an Associates Degree and has worked for a Type 1 Hazardous Materials Team since 2013. Tyler is a CSTI Haz Mat Outreach Instructor and works for a Regional Fire Academy in Southern California instructing future firefighters from fire suppression to hazardous materials response.
He has played a intricate role in fire apparatus design and is currently the Wildland Firefighting Coordinator for his department.
Tyler enjoys teaching fire science and hazardous materials to both professional firefighters and private industry. His hands on approach teaching style and attention to detail will provide you exceptional training.
